Greg La Cost is an experienced, capable attorney, licensed in both Wisconsin and Illinois.  He has 25 years of legal experience and joined Rizzo & Diersen, S.C. in 2012.

Greg loves being a parent and to watch his children play sports and engage in all types of activities.  He also coaches and plays basketball and is a certified soccer referee.  He is handy with tools as well and appreciates updating and fixing all types of problems at home or anywhere for that matter.

Greg had operated his own general practice firm in Illinois as a general practitioner performing complex litigation, personal injury, business and personal transactions, contract negotiations, real estate, civil litigation and corporate management. Greg was also a lobbyist for a major trade group, lobbying all across the United States. Greg had “cut his legal teeth” in litigation with both mid and large size Chicago law firms. He currently serves as an Arbitrator in Cook County and Lake County, Illinois.

Greg has a diverse legal experience which allows him to resolve matters efficiently and effectively for his clients. With 25 years of legal experience, he is one of two Rizzo lawyers licensed in both Wisconsin and Illinois. He works out of each of our offices in Kenosha, Racine, Burlington, Lake Geneva and Oak Brook. After graduating from law school With Honors, Greg was a general practitioner performing transactions, contract negotiations, real estate, civil litigation, and corporate management. He then focused his efforts in litigation with a large law firm in Chicago and subsequently litigated complex litigation cases for State Farm. After achieving substantial achievements in litigation, Greg utilized his advocacy skills by lobbying across the country for a national trade association. Going back to his roots and desire to help people, Greg returned to focus on practicing law at Rizzo and Diersen, S.C. Greg’s diverse background allows him to serve Rizzo’s clients on a multitude of life’s legal challenges.
